SVBONY SV241 Pro Power Box
Technical sheet for the SVBONY SV241 Pro power distribution box: description, specifications and strengths for an astrophotography setup.

Description
The SV241 Pro is a power distribution and control box (“powerbox”) from SVBONY, designed to centralize power and control for a full astrophotography setup: mount, camera, filter wheel, autoguider, dew heaters… From a single 12V input, it redistributes power to several individually switchable DC and USB outputs, avoiding a tangle of separate cables and batteries in the field.
It also includes dew heater control with a temperature/humidity sensor, and integrates with the usual astrophotography software (ASCOM, NINA) for centralized control from a mini-PC or laptop.

Strengths
- Centralizes power for an entire setup (mount, camera, autoguider, heaters) from a single 12V source.
- Individual control of each output, handy for switching off one element without unplugging it.
- ASCOM/NINA integration: remote control from the acquisition software.
- Compact and lightweight (≈ 210 g), easy to mount on the mount or tube.
Coming up
This sheet will be expanded with feedback on controlling it via NINA, managing the associated field battery, and how effective the automatic dew heater control is.
