Equatorial adapter for the Seestar S30 Pro and S50 Pro
A 3D-printed adapter to mount a Seestar S30 Pro on a Sky-Watcher EQ3 or EQ6 equatorial mount. It also works with the Seestar S50 Pro.

How it works
On its own mount, the Seestar tracks the sky in alt-azimuth mode: over long series of exposures, the field slowly rotates (field rotation). Placed on an equatorial mount, it follows the sky on a single axis and the rotation goes away. Several of my photos were taken this way, for example M101, shot with the Seestar S30 Pro on the NEQ-3 Pro.
The adapter is a Vixen-style dovetail block that clamps directly into the mount’s saddle. A 3/8" screw goes through it from below, with its head sitting in a counterbore, and threads into the photo socket under the Seestar. The photos show it on the EQ6-R Pro.
The adapter is printed in PETG on a Bambu Lab X1C.
