M110 (NGC 205) is a dwarf elliptical galaxy, a satellite of the Andromeda Galaxy (M31) to which it is gravitationally bound. Unlike most elliptical galaxies, it shows traces of dust and recent star formation, a peculiarity that still puzzles astronomers.
Much more discreet than its giant neighbor, it appears here as a diffuse, elongated glow with no distinct structure, typical of elliptical galaxies.
Captured with the Sky-Watcher Explorer 150/750 PDS telescope mounted on the EQ6-R Pro and a ZWO ASI 294 MC Pro camera, processed in PixInsight.
