This remake keeps the original 1993 story — Link washed ashore on Koholint Island, trying to wake the Wind Fish to get home — while completely overhauling the visuals with a diorama-style, miniature-world look. The island’s level design, dense despite its small size, packs in compact dungeons and secrets, and the addition of the Chamber Dungeon editor offers bonus content absent from the original.
